Standalone Installation

NaviPress works as a Web page authoring tool with or without a network connection.  On Windows 3.1, if you installed NaviPress without a network connection and now want to use it over the Internet, you must change your installation.

Network Connections Known to Work with NaviPress

• Direct Internet connections, including SLIP and PPP connections through Internet Service Providers.
• AOL for Windows - see Keyword NaviSoft to download AOL's special WINSOCK.DLL.
• The Windows-only GNN Internet access service.
• Microsoft Network.
• Compuserve's PPP Internet access.

Networks That Do Not Currently Work with NaviPress

• Prodigy.
• Genie.
• AOL for Macintosh.
